CHECKING OUT MATERIALS

Books -- You may check out up to 3 books for 3 weeks. You MUST have your student I.D. to check out library materials

Magazines -- 3 student days (Current issues are in-library use only.)

Textbooks -- in-library use only.

Renewals -- You can renew a book twice, each for 15 days. If a HOLD as been placed on your book you cannot renew.

You can check out 3 items at a time, but no more than 2 magazines at a time

Fines
15 cents a day, maximizing at $5.00 per item.

Holds

There are two types of holds you can place on library materials.

Student Hold -- If you do not have your I.D. card, have an overdue item, or owe a library fine and you want to check something out the library will hold the book for 3 days for you to check out after you have cleared your fines or brought your I.D. card. This is called a student hold.


Computer Hold -- If a book is checked out that you would like to read, you can place a hold on the book in OPAC using your I.D. number as your username and your last name as your password. Or you can ask the staff to do it for you. This is called a computer hold.
